I just did an engine swap, (blew out my bottom end, 3.4 - 3.4) Can someone tell me how far the harmonic balancer needs to be installed onto the crankshaft? I'm getting a no-start condion and i think that the sensor behind it isnt reading that the crank is moving and i'm not getting spark or something. Starter, fuel pump and computer are turning on fine. I even got oil pressure after cranking for like..... a min or so. Thanks to anyone who can help. :-p

theres a keyway on the crank so theres really no way to put the balancer on in the wrong position. as far as the crank position sensor goes, if its disconnected ur car WILL NOT start, no chance otherwise. if the sensor was damaged and does not work properly now, ur car WILL NOT start. im not sure about the 3.4, but i konw u dont have to on the 3.8, but on some cars u have to set the air gap on the sensor. MY CPS went bad and the car wouldnt start when it got hot, it would cut off, ran like *** . they can **** ur world up if they go bad. this is what ur ignition system gets it feed on start from and during running. so this caused a no spark condition on my car.
also, dont crank the car over for long periods of time. anything more than 15 secs and u risk overheating the starter

Hello every one, ozzy here ive been looking at this page for weeks now finally joined. So my question is why is it that every turbo build forum just ends...
Just ordered some Toyo 315/35/17 tires for my 17x11 rims. Hopefully I can get them on the beginning of next year. Will post pics.
