    If i have a 96 I cant use the intake manifolds in the power pak right?

    What should i get from them and What else do i need?

    I am really interested in getting a second engine and tranny off ebay to do everything at once to it like headers and heads and put in a high stall TC. And i will stil be able to drive my car around.

    If any one can help thanks.

    Also is it worth it?

    It didnt look like it made much of a difference in Magnuses car.

      Yeah it is worth it. When he made those times, he was on REALLY bad tuning and has not had time to figure out how to tune the car right with the heads and cam. Give him time, that beast will be down to mid/low 13s soon.

      It WILL make a difference..... with tuning.

        what? are you kidding? of course its worth it. i recommend toms work to everybody.

        what else will you need with the power pack:
        maft+
        autotap
        and a better knowledge of engines than what i had.
        just because you can afford it does not mean you should have it- i am a prime example.
        6s.......under the hood or under the belt, they just dont cut it.

          I went from 14.0 with PERFECT tuning to a 13.8 with TERRIBLE tuning...

          14.0 stock heads cam I had maybe 30 degrees of timing advance...

          13.8 with heads/cam, I had 18 MAX if I was lucky.

          Definately worth it.. I just have to work out the kinks in my car.

            Ok Nino and Magnus. I have a question for you guys. Since my car has run a bast of 15.86@86.6 (as you can see in signature). What do you feel the Power Pack would do to my ET? Also what is the major need for the MAFT+? Thanks

              i dropped .4 after mine was installed and magnus has dropped .2. we really cant tell you what your car will do, but i would guess .4 faster if anything.

              you NEED the maft+ to adjust the air fuel ratio with your new h/c. or you will be running lean like a mofo and that is not good. and that is why it is needed- unless you reprogram your computer, but good luck trying to find someone to do that for less than $300.

                nino i dont know if u know this but magnus is probably going 2 be doing pcm programming sometime soon on 97 pcm. the 97 pcm works in the 96 car

                  yes i know his plans, and i wish him the best of luck. but even you said probably. i respect keith with all due respect, but it is the same situation as me waiting for my pacesetter headers- when it happens it happens and glory be, but till then we all have to wait. maft+ is right here right now.
                  i have faith in keith and i wish him well, the 3800 V6 will benifit greatly when he pulls it through

                    whats the pcm programming do? is it just for the air fuel.
