• New dyno results!

First off, my mod list for these pulls:

-218/218 on a 112LSA (see cam spec sheet for details)
-FTRA, K&N, Whisper lid, !MAF screen
-Pacesetter coated headers, !CAT, and cutout
-SPEC stage 3
-3.42's and limited slip

Previous best (only difference being the headers and !CAT) was 187.9rwhp, and at the time we were unable to get a torque reading. Tonight we dyno'd for grins, and it pulled 211.8rwhp and 221.0rwtq at about 5400rpm. So the Pacesetter headers and ditching the cat netted about 24rwhp! I never expected to see that kind of gains from these mods alone! I guss it's safe to say more of a stock car wouldn't see as big of gains. But Pacesetter still has my stamp of approval, I'm all grins

Wideband O2 said I was at about 14.2 A/F, but we didn't plug in the MAFT tonight to richen it up any. Can't wait to get it back on the dyno with the spray and a "mini tune"!

But it was neat to see this setup peak well before 6000rpm's. Several people have sworn against this cam saying you can't take advantage of its entire powerband with a stock rev limiter But now we all know this cam's real powerband instead of its theoretical one.

They are here, I'll see what I can do to host them on Yahoo or something.

I love it. VERY aggressive though, not alot of fun in stop and go driving sometimes, as it chatters a bit still. But it has never given me any problems even on the 100 shot. If this one ever did die, I'd replace it with another just like it

I knew that cam was hot!

Glad to see it has worked so well for you.

I dyno'd 194RWHP and 227TQ with that cam. That cam is good.

Can't really say it will peak that low when you add more fuel.

IMHO you should be dynoing higher.. but with that kind of A/F ratio who knows whats up.

I think you have more in it.

Yea, race cars and race 3.8's run open header or open y-pipe.

Agreed, I think it still has more in it too. We will be plugging in the MAFT soon, and re-dynoing. I still can't see it peaking above 6000rpm when we add fuel.

In a few weeks when put on the new Texas Speed catback, I will try and dyno with open y-pipe or install a cutout after the Y for future dynos. Overall though, I'm very pleased. A little tuning, and a higher rev limiter so we could dyno in 4th could make for several more HP on the rollers.

Hopefully this will work, if not I'll upload it onto Texas Speed's server. Here it is. Found out that our wideband's filter might have been a bit clogged, and that will throw off the A/F quite a bit.
