Does anyone have any idea where this thing is?? Common sense says it would be in the little box that says fuses and relays under the hood. But it's not. Anyone have any suggestions?? This may be the fix to my long starting problem and hopefully not the fuel pump. Any help is great, quicker the better.

This is probably no help ... but on my 98 there are two fuse/relay boxes under the hood. The one closest to the headlight contains my FP relay.

If you look in your manual or the stickers on the fuse panel lids, they should tell you which is for the fuel pump.

Why don't you describe the problem more. My kept dying at random times and it turned out to be the fuel pump itself.

Fuel pump relay is not under the hood, it's actually in a place that you wouldn't even think. When you look at your gas, brake and clutch pedals, you will see a foot rest thing to the left of the padals. This trim piece runs the length of the bottom of the door. When you take it out, you will see a gray relay with a harness plugged into it sitting right under where the foot rest was. That is the fuel pump relay. Nice place for it, huh?
