  • N/A engines tuning with maft or maft+

I have the maft+, but I do not have the ICM portion connected at the moment, only plugged into the maf.

Right now, I have wot set to 4% lean, and am not seeing much difference in O2's. Though I will admit I do not have a good wot run to look at. I seem to be hanging around .900

I would like to know what everyone has their maft set to at wot? I know its not going to be exact, consider this a survey.

It's not a good servey imho.. we all have different configs so different settings will do different things, perhaps damage parts on some cars.

    BASE always at 0.. ALWAYS
    WOT -6% at track..
timing advance +4 or +6.. sometimes +8 at the track

I have the thing off on the street.

Make SURE the pink wires line up with the MAF T+ and the MAF sensor itself.

If you're not seeing any changes in O2's somethings wrong.. try drastik changes like +10% WOT..

make sure you watch B1S1 and B2S1...

Also, log the MAF Frequency... and perhaps lb/min.. see if those values change, they SHOULD.

Mine is set to 6% lean (wot), and it's still just a little rich. Still need to dial it in exactly. That is with upgraded 24 lb injectors.

Base is zero. The pcm learns out the base, but it takes time, so it is very misleading to play with the base setting because your readings will be different right after the change than they are 20 minutes later, or 3 days later.

thanks, I will check out the suggestions

I wanted to know about what the average is so I know about where I should start getting "nervous" so to speak

I am pretty certain it is connected up correctly -- I am getting readings from the maf, car idles fine, and there are no codes or ses light.
