• Shift points on an automatic when in drive?

I don't know where to put this so I will put it here and hopefully if I am wrong Magnus will move it
Anyway, after I got my gears I noticed my car is shifting really funny now.
Thru 1st and 2nd gear it seems to shift at about 54-5500 like it used to, but in third it shifts out at like 5000 rpm which it never used to.
Also now, if I actually shift the shifter down it will stay in gear a lot longer. Before the gears no matter what I did it shifted at 5500rpm when I downshift it manually, but last night I was playing on the way home and took 2nd gear to 5800rpm! It didn't shift until I moved the shifter up.
Is this strange to any of your or do gears just do this sort of thing?

Also, you think since my car doesn't redline til 6k rpm that it won't hurt to run it that high? It gets orange/yellow at 5500, redline is at 6. (you guys should know what it looks like )

The yellow is cosmetic only. The engine redline is 5500 RPMS. The camaros have no yellow. The WOT shift points on my car are 5500 1-2, 5200 2-3. Car hit 110 speed limiter @ 5200 in 3rd.
