did programming mess my car up?

Ever since i had the pcm programmed with the shift points raised my car doesnt seem right. Its hard to explain but here goes. when i go wot the engine screams but the car doesnt seem to be moving as fast as it should according to the sound of how high the engine rpms sound, is this normal withe programming?

more info, do you have a cam, heads, springs,lifters, ect....

yes i have a comp cam, supersix powerpack pretty much every bolt on, aftermarket valvr springs

IS it moving faster at all? If not you have the same problem as Nino did. You didnt have an ls1.

You really need to narrow down some of the other issues so we can help you. Have you Autotap'd the car? Any knock retard? What are your fuel trims at? O2's? It'd be great if people could help everyone with a problem after simply hearing "my car is running good", but it isn't that easy.

Is your tranny shifting crispy at the higher rpm? ... or do you sense some slippage?

... more so, what method did you use to change your shift points ... and what are your new shift points? Did you consider any upgrades to the trans unit to work with the new shift points?

the most kr i was getting is 1.1* at 4000 or so rpm other than this its 0*. o2s were .890 .915 ltrims 0% and 0.8% wot af was 11.7 i know it rich but i didnt think running rich would make it run this bad

tranny s built with stronger bands and stiffer springs, transgo stage3 **** kit 3600 tc. no slipping. when im at a stop and i floor the gas the rpm goes up t 5850ish then drops to 4200 so thats the 1-2 shift then goes up to 5900ish then drops to 4250.
