  • PCM pin out ?

I see(in the tech database) for a 99 pin 8 on the clear connector(toward the rear of the car) is described as "WHT 121 Engine Speed Out"... Am I correct in assuming this is rpm?

I have read that for 98-00 ls1 the rpm wire is a white wire, though they are in different places.

hmmm.. it might be the IGN Control wire which is also white.

I'll try to look at my diagrams tonight.

Yeah, I'm looking for the rpm signal. I believe I can get it off the coil pack base. But it'd be nice to catch it at the pcm.

You should get a multi-tester. I picked up a sweet one at Radio Shack for $20.

On the 2002 model its on the upper connector (BLUE) its the 8th wire (purple) on the right most bank. (My setup i found after probing wires for an hour and pricking my finger)

Autometer told me that the 2001 model was on the lower connector (Clear) on the left most bank and was pin 10 i believe... White wire.
