Ok, I've looked at the Comp Cams Xtreme Hydraulic Roller Camshaft on grandprixstore.com for the L36 and their Comp Cams Valve Springs and Retainers. My question is, do I need those chromemoly pushrods they have, will they work, will the cam and springs both work on my 97 Firebird 3.8L, and what else will have to be done. I have a friend who can do the install for free so I just need to find out what else has to be done. Does the computer need to be reprogrammed or anything, any possible of complications or damage with switching the camshaft out?? Worth it?
