it is tuning software that you install onto a computer (PC or laptop) ..then it uses a cable that runs from the computer to the diagnostic port in your car..there is a LOT you can do with it..so as far as gains..it depends what it is you are tuning for

probably just stick with the hypertech for now until you get more into modding with bigger bolt ons and such.

Actually on a stock car you would probably see 10-15 hp increase at the wheels. You can change your shift points, shift firmness, advance your timing, etc.

It will do more than a hypertech will even on a stock car IMHO.

i will never again buy hpp...i can always add on whatever vehicle i buy onto hptuners for less then hpp can be bought for. Then again not being half bad at tuning doesnt hurt either ;)

the biggest advantages for me were recalibrating for my new gears, firming up shifts, being able to change my timing when running juice, making the car run a LOT cooler which was a problem for me due to the setup of the staging lanes here, and having the ability to recalibrate for bigger injectors if needed

Yes, if you swap in a 97 PCM. CHeck the price on their website.

Don't forget there is also DHP that offers a tuner at a much cheaper price. ;)

hp tuners is always in stock...dhp is still probably a month back ordered...hptuners scanning software is far better then dhp's...the functionality is about the same and price is comparable between the two $399 to $499...again its a matter of waiting and hptuners seems to be a more user friendly tool IMHO
