    Comp Cam # 76-000-9 ?

not really sure what to think of it. its 206/212 114

How great will this cam be? I dont care about upgrading my springs and such as I intend to do it with the cam swap. Just need to know how much power it will make and what its powerband is. I plan on purchasing a custom pcm in the next few days so....

BTW I tried the search and there were tons of 206/212 113's and 115's but not 114's.

Also remeber im running a 100 shot.

It'll be a nice cam for a nitrous car. The 114 LSA will make it peaker a little higher than those you found in your search on the 113LSA. And on the other hand, it will peak slightly lower than a 115 LSA.

Well it seems that the cam's peak powerband WILL occur within your average shift points. You should not have to raise your rev limiter. Not only does it have a LSA of 114, but the IC is also 114 which helps to keep the powerband down in the RPM range. I don't know if you will need new springs/retainers b/c the chart doesn't show the duration at .500 . If you're running N2O it may help to order a custom grind from Comp cams with the same specs, but making the exhaust side 216. Just my $.02

I always liked the 206/212 grind. And I think 114LS is where its at for nitrous. W/o needing massive pcm tuning this will be a good giggle juice cam. But if your not worried about pcm tuning then go bigger.

                Mine was the same thing.
Didn't say buick on it though, but the part number match up.
You can get those specs ground on just about any cam.

your ok just checked comp cam catalog and its fine there web site list it as a 97+ gm 3800 cam

and the 76-xxx-9 is a the cam part numbers for our cars

76-000-9 is the core number which is right its a costum ground cam i take it and the only part number on it is the core number since they dont sell them as a instock item

Does anyone know what type of power I would be making with this cam? Typical HP gains or whatnot...
