Ok, as far as the internals go, can I have a custom set of forged pistons (copies of stock firebird pistons, just forged) installed with a set of the forged stock GTP connecting rods and bearings? Will they work together? Thanx!

L67 rods are not forged.
The L67 pistons/rods/wrist pins are different than the L36 so you can't use your pistons if they are made for the L36 unless you keep your stock rods.
