cam for my 6.......

dont know alot about cars, just enough to get by.. so what exactely will a cam do for my 3.8? who makes the better one? what other upgrades would i need? i have an A4 and a stock engine except headers and air intake if that has anything to do with it...

There are so many options for cam selection. You could get a nice cam from ZZP or a custom grind from compcams. You will also need pushrods, valve springs and the cam. Do a search and look for cams other people have tried. Or look at the aftermarket cam page in the tech database.
