Would there be any differences from 98 to 01 in the wiring harness?
Would there be any differences from 98 to 01 in the wiring harness?
I know that there's something different for the drive by wire system in the 01. I have a gas pedal from one and it has a little computer attached to it. But what about the rest of the harness? Provided I had an 01 engine, transmission, wiring harness, and the pedals for it, would there be any reason that harness wouldn't connect to the places it needs to inside the car? There's like 2-3 connectors on the passenger side, and 5 or so on the driver.
I know its a kinda vague question, ask if u need more detail.
Tryin to put an '01 engine into a '98 car. I would have all the 2001 wiring that goes into the fuse box and the 2001 PCM with engine wiring, but the things I'm not sure about are the connections that go into the cabin. I'm sure the wiring for the engine will fit since I have the motor and its harness, and the lighting and fan system hasn't changed. It's the few on each side of the cabin, under the driver's side and under the kick panel on the passenger. I've seen the connectors, and they look the same, but knowing gm, there's probably different wires in there. I'm hoping someone can confirm or deny

98 is different in a few major ways- 99 on has a single udata line to all the guages, and I'm not sure about the engine harness. Wiring hell awaits you but it should be worth it
Hello every one, ozzy here ive been looking at this page for weeks now finally joined. So my question is why is it that every turbo build forum just ends...
Just ordered some Toyo 315/35/17 tires for my 17x11 rims. Hopefully I can get them on the beginning of next year. Will post pics.
