        How about this:

        L67 crank, rebalanced to 50%
        !balancer shaft
        3800 III connecting rods, modified
        9.5 L67 pistons or ZZP's custom 4.1 pistons

        ZZP GT2 cam 216/216 .507/.507 111ls

aftermarket lifters, push rods, and valve springs

        Some Hogged out heads.

        SLP rockers
        P&P intake monifolds
        bigger injectors

        Then some major computer tuning.

for the other asking about internals, go to my site in my sig, those are some of the best, with cost in mind, i have been researching priceing those for a year. i think matt and taigo will agree on that, (the heads are from them as is the turbo) i think Tiago is excited to see some number from me too. he also helped me with some questions i had. and begin in Iraq i had ALOT of qestions too

matt please check my site, tell me what you think of my cam turbo grind?

so if you wanted to get the 4.1 stroker what computer tunning would need to be done? would the MAFT+ be able to do it or are the pre 98 guys screwed? thanks.

ok that i know of the computer has no clue what the c/r is, all it knows is the amount of air coming in and the rpms, then it takes that and adds the fuel it needs per amount of air. so if you get bigger injectors then yes you will need to tell the computer or is dumps to much fuel in. the O2 reading conferm the a/f ratio is right and is one more source to get it perfect.

so if you stroke it your going to bring more air, IMO the comper will just hold the injectors open longer. to account for it.

in my case i have to use the MAFT cause im goign to 42.5 lb/hour injectors

ok but if you didi want bigger injectors like you are going with then the maft would fix that problem? thanks for explaining that.

Just to clarify, the old Buick 4.1 was/is the same block as the 3.8. The cylinder bores are siamesed, too. Same crank was used.

thats what I read, but the people in this forum that "know everything" said it wasn't. Maybe not the same series engine, but you know what I mean. Please guys if you don't know for sure, then at least say, "I think." Thanks.
