does anyone have or know someone with this cam in their car. i am thinking of this for my rebuild, but don't know if this will make the power that i want. Also, what will the idle be like on this thing, does it lope?

if you want to run a 270 dur. cam, i'd run the custom grind I had in the red camaro
email comp cams and give 'em this grind # cv6/5443/5201/hr114+4
525 lift w/ 1.6 rockers, and the baddest idle I've ever heared from a v6Wolf
95 black t-top camaro,3.4 5 speed,ud pullies,plugs/wires,de-shaft tb & gutted airbox, homemaid short throw shifter

I had:
fastchips (or superchips?) programing
nrt heads
lt1 tb (the car had a stock tb on it when I got it tho, ran alil rich at idle because of it)
96-97 3.4 dohc pistons, 9.7 cr
pacesetter headers
19 # injectors with afprWolf
95 black t-top camaro,3.4 5 speed,ud pullies,plugs/wires,de-shaft tb & gutted airbox, homemaid short throw shifter

thanks, thats exactly what i was looking for. now i also like the specs on your Crower cam, how would you say the crower differs from the Comp that you had, idle better or worse? What about power and torque. also, did you set the timing advance with the Comp 4*, (with cloyes double roller timing chain set) i was considering the comp custom grind, 226* 236 that josh sells, but think that may be extreme, what are your thoughts, because basically i have the same bottom end as you pistons, and intake for that matter.

I haven't run the crower cam,the bigger duration on it would push the powerband up more, probably gonna run a solid roller on the red camaro(at least that what dad wants to do, and its his car now so...)
the bigger lift with the lower duration on comp gives you the topend power without loseing to much lowend, wich is good on a autoWolf
95 black t-top camaro,3.4 5 speed,ud pullies,plugs/wires,de-shaft tb & gutted airbox, homemaid short throw shifter

i like those cam specs, but did you run nitrous with it? because i plan on it a little possibly for this motor, (50-75) and think that i need more exhaust duration for the nitrous. Also, how come you haven't run the crower yet, and what happened to the comp cam, why did you switch. btw did you run the comp with the new pistons, because i wasn't sur eif your rebuild was with the old cam or the new one. but u liked the comp, the exhaust sounded goog. how would you compare it to Tiago's idle in his final dyno video if you have time to check it out.

I never ran n20 on it,the motor i had the comp cam in spun a cam bearing, I got the crower because it was cheep
got a link to the dyno vid?
anyway,no matter what cam you get, have your machince shop put new cam bearings in your block, and have them put a roller cam button and lockplate on the cam to keep it from thrustingWolf
95 black t-top camaro,3.4 5 speed,ud pullies,plugs/wires,de-shaft tb & gutted airbox, homemaid short throw shifter
