both cams make the same power numbers, don't ask me how, but dominic desktop dyno'd both cams, and they make about the same power. for your application, w/ the heads, i'd look into the HL cam from ZZP.

would it still be good as a daily driver with the hl cam?

Really they both give the same performance? I would love to get the GT because this is emission legal and doesn't screw the computer.

I would like to know if this is true though.

I can't see the GT cam passing smog, at least in cali. it's lobe separation is way to small to be able to pass the low rpm runs on the smog dyno's. The HL cam from ZZP is made specifically for V6's w/ cylinder head work done to them. This is why the lift is increased way past .500 in. I would suggest getting a bigger bore tb to help prevent the stupid engine code at idle. that code pops up because the engine is trying really hard to suck in more air, and the tb isn't letting it thru. the bigger broe tb will help this by giving more area around the edges for air to sneak past, and hopefully this will prevent the code from popping up. otherwise, u can always get the code tuned out of the pcm.

You can buy a Big Bore Tb from ZZP, 3800 Performance, and Intense Racing. They're about 250 w/ a 150 core charge I think.
