I dunno if there are differences in the LS1 I haven't looked in to it but on the LT1 the sensors are all the same, and the connectors so in my case I just plugged the wires into the Lt1 stuff.

Look at the years of his car. This might not help the 3.8 guys

The sensor is different (tps) they don't look any thing alike.
The LS1 and 2.8L tb bolt patterens aren't even close the 2.8 has 2 bolts spaced about 3'' apart the LS1 has 3 bolts the bottem 2 are about 2'' - 2.5'' apart and the 3rd hole is about 4.5'' above the center of the bottem 2 holes.
The place where the IAC is, I just picked it because I saw that 2 holes all most lined up(from the 2.8 IAC houseing to the LS1), I could all most make the important part of the 2.8 IAC houseing fit on there.
            And that's what I did.
