• Fuel: Inline vs Intank

One thing I don't know much about on our cars is fuel. I don't know when things need to be altered for performance and I dont know the limitations of the stock setup.

By boosting the pump, I assume more voltage, won't that cause the pump to burn up? How do boost-a-pumps work?

Are in line pumps okay? I see that installing an intake pump is a slight bi0tch and I don't really want to go that far if I don't need one.

Just looking for good fueling info and what you guys have run across considering these two pump options...

boost-a-pumps do boost voltage and are basically the lazy mans way of getting more fuel. I highly recomend against this. Do it the right way.

Inline fuel pumps are the way to go for BIG BIG BIG HP.. the likes of which we'll never see. WHen using a regular inline pump though you're still pulling fuel through the stock restricted pump. Semi-lazy mans way to do things.

Then there is the in-tank pump. The best way. On 99+ cars it's not so bad because the fuel tank and filler neck seperate.. and plus the tank is plastic and lighter.

    Go with in-tank!
