I know there are chips out there such as Superchips, but is there one made for a Camaro? And if so, are they worth it?

nope none really out there, the best way to go is the tuners for our cars. DHP and HP tuners are the two and they both are great. Do a search here in the forums for them. You will find tons of info on both of them.

fast chips also. and the thing is no is it worth at most 16 hp and 20ft lbs for 200-300 dollars. and jet chip dont do nothing but wreck stuff.
if its available on the camaro or ont he firebird its interchangable for the years they both containt he same pcm's if im not mistaken.
u could always get a tuning program and adjust it urself this way u can return it to stock superchips and ect still keep it messed up. because ud have to flash te pcm to get it back to stock.

I've seen those chips on ebay that claim to put out 20 hp, but in reality that just isn't true. Slp makes the same thing, and it plugs into your air intake sensor. In reality it adds about 5 hp. As far as jet chips, I've heard nothing but crap from them. If I were you, I'd get the air sensor chip for $24.99 and be happy, or save up and get it professionally tuned. That'll cost you a pretty penny though. Just my opinion!

also we now have a tuning forum for DHP and HP tuners. if you go that route for tuning( and I suggest you do) there are many people that can help you out here
