LT1 valve springs

Ok, I did some searching and it seems that certain LS1 springs will definately fit a 3.8. What about LT1 springs? Only reason I ask, is that I will be acquiring a set of heads soon and will be building them up, to put on my car. A friend of mine has a set of Comp LT1 springs (don't know any specs on them) that he said he would sell me for really cheap. I am just curious if they will even work.

Im not sure but I dont think LT1 springs are the same. I cross referenced LT1 springs and LS1 springs in my compcams catologe and there different. So they probly wont work for you. Springs are not that expensive.

Ok, I didn't think that they would fit anyways. It would just have been a cool deal to not have to order any. Yeah, I've been pricing springs, not as expensive as I originally thought. Thanks for the reply.

I plan on throwin a cam in it, BUT i heard some news today that might make me not do anything else to the V6...maybe even de-mod it. [img]tongue.gif[/img]
