My plans for another 3800 engine swap are going to happening very soon, I'm really hoping to begin the end of the month, all depending my HR and when they ever get me my O/T and holiday money. Anyways, My plan is to get another L36 and retrofit it with L67 internals. I just got to thinking from reading another, what would be involved to cut rebuild out, and fit an L67 minus the Eaton 90 into my car? Would it be worth the modifications to go that way or is it just way too much work?

the block will work, its the same block as ours..
You'll have a lot less HP though NA due to the lower compression.Keith - Chicago
HP Tuners - PCM Reprogramming
97 Firebird V6 to LS1 swap
V8 9.967@132.78 1.322 60\' NA Heads/Cam
V8 10.295@128.48 1.363 60\' NA Cam Only
V8 10.987@119.31 1.422 60\' NA Stock Internals
V6 13.674@98.22 NA
V6 12.394@104.91 N20 100HP

L67 pistons are same material as L36.Keith - Chicago
HP Tuners - PCM Reprogramming
97 Firebird V6 to LS1 swap
V8 9.967@132.78 1.322 60\' NA Heads/Cam
V8 10.295@128.48 1.363 60\' NA Cam Only
V8 10.987@119.31 1.422 60\' NA Stock Internals
V6 13.674@98.22 NA
V6 12.394@104.91 N20 100HP

swap in the 9.5:1 .010 overbore pistons from Intense. they're about 800 for the set, and they're forged. the heads are different tho, because the M90 doesn't have enough room for the injectors to be put in the manifold, the L67 heads have the injectors plumbed into the heads, so that will be different. if u wanna use the L67 heads, the stock injector holes in the manifold will have to be plugged up, or a seconary set of injectors for nitrous can be used. There's a lot of stuff coming out for L67 blocks that would be good upgrades, such as fuel delivery and such. It's worth looking into, if it can be swapped in easy enough.2001 Arctic White Firebird
More mods than I\'m allowed to list!

I'm not worried about lower compression, I'm going with forced induction, which I why I want to used the L67 internals.2003 Zinc Yellow Mustang GT 1 of 701
ET : TBD
But our shenanigans are cheeky and fun!
