Just cuz' it's OBD2 compatible doesn't mean it'll work on our cars. Whos' gonna be the guinea pig? Not I...I'd rather leave the PCM stock than mess it up.

I am a beliver.. IMO.. as long as you copy your stock tune... and keep it safe.. everything will be fine.. cause you will allways be able to go back to it..

i think it will be cool.. keith (magnuts) has been working on this for a while.. and i have been watching/hearing about his progress on dxsoft.. and it sounds pretty good to me..

Just to let you know...since this will be edited with a hex editor I don't recommend ANYONE doing this themselves unless you know how to read hex.

It works on 98+ f-bodies...

how hard in depth is it to use?

I just skimmed it since I am in class... but does it do speedo recalibration?

(I know its way more in depth then that but I want to see if you can save money from buying other things to go along with this, like how you can turn on the fans and other things with it.)

And will it flash "Danger to Manifold!" if their is danger to my Manifold?
http://www.hptuners.com/order.php

ANd shirl I agree with your thoughts, to keep things as stock as possible, I try to do the same(notice I generally leave stuff that will flip the pcm out alone on my cars...)

BUt I think this is awesome for big time boost and juice users...

Thanks guys. It's a very busy morning now that we went public so I'll have to keep this brief.

Yes this is my project that I started up with 2 very intelligent people I met through the PCM hacking site.

We provide you with a full graphical editor that shows you your values as is.. not in ex but actual #'s you can understand.

This is not just an OBD-II compliance thing. We must do each vehicle seperately so the V6 f-body package is tailored to the V6 f-body. THere is no guinee pig status as we have already done our R&D and have damaged 0 vehicles in the process.

I'm not sure if we will dip back at 97 and prior. The PCM hardware is quite different as is the communications required to commmunicate with them. As you can see we have our hands quie full already with 98+ vehicles.

Thanks for the support!

LOL.. i know you are gunna be busy as hell today..

but.. i allready posted the site on another board and it has atteacted a little attention..

an ls1 buddy of mine asks
"Does this program have all the capabilities of ls1 edit?"

i would imagine it does/will.. but i will let keith answer that one..

Dude, read the site and what Keith posted. It's not in hex. The user interface takes care of that for you, and all you see if actual values that you can understand. If you ever see LS1edit or another editor program, they are very easy to read, and I am sure this is no different. Jump on his forum, there's alot of info there before anyone freaks out about being able to read hex
