Who here has actually done it?

I'm in the process of converting my '02 LS1 motor over to a 98 harness and PCM.

I was wondering about the V8 fuel delivery system- I know the V8's dont have the regulator on the fuel rail, and they have them in the tank. Is there a way to keep the same tank?

This is what was posted on another board by someone who did it on a 3rd gen. I plan to do the same thing on my '98 swap. He says it runs about $200.

I had to go with a fuel rail from a 97 Vette (part#12556705) and the fuel pressure regulator (part#12554677). The fuel rail has the return line on it. Also the fuel pressure regulator has a vacuum port on it, which I hooked up to the line coming from under the MAP sensor in the back of the engine.

Okay, thanks for the part numbers.

Since I an 2002 LS1 fuel pump assembly, with regulator, sender, fuel pump, etc, I'd like to use that instead. I already have the new V8 fuel lines, so I am hoping I can adapt that to V6 98 body wiring, and change over the fuel level sender unit from the 98 tank, and everything should be go.
