Just get some forged pistons/rods and maybe make the crank stronger. That should be plenty. Pistons and then rods are the weak points. You might want to think about rings if you're spraying alot.
What did you do anyway? Did you run it at the track before it blew? How much did you spray?
Oh you're in Kentucky. I've killed in Kentucky.
Where do I get forged rods and pistons for my motor?
I bought a Zex kit. Hooked it up the way I was suppose to do. had the vaccum lines hooked up right, had all the wriing right except on my push button switch to spray it it I didnt ground it. I also ran a straight line, no jet.I was told that the zex solenoid can only flow 125 so i figured I would be borderline safe with the straight line. problem was, when I armed the ntrous, while stalling up my car at the track I was holding the rpms@1500 and it just started spraying without me pushing the button so Being a jackass I am I decided to hammer the gas and spray and the car backfired going down the track , it also spun the whole way. The time is in my sig...To make a long story short, Im a retard , Im your Usual nitrous blower upper jackass who didnt know what they were doing and should have listened to other people ;)

www.3800performance.com makes .01 and .02 overbore pistons for our cars. They make .02 overbore 9.5:1 and 8.0:1 pistons as well as .01 overbore 8.5:1 pistons, all forged. If you are planning on getting a sc or turbo put on your car, get the 8.0:1 pistons for increased boost handling, or get the 9.5:1 pistons if you want good low end response and are willing to limit boost to a conservative 10-12 psi, or just want to run w/ nitrous again. No one makes a stroker kit for our cars yet, but I'm sure you could get the stock crank slightly stroked to 3.5 inches(stock is 3.4). Or you could have a custom forged crank made and get custom rods to go w/ it, but that's gonna put a big dent in your wallet. I'd get a custom cam made when you get your heads ported and polished. SuperSix Motorsports has a heads/cam pkg. for our cars for 2 g's. for now, work on intake, exhaust, ignition, chassis, drivetrain, and suspension tuning. drop me an e-mail if you want to see my list of mods I'd like to do to my car in the future, or IM me and we can talk about how to go about modding your car.
