so i've been lookin into cryo treating my crank and i was wondering if anyone knows of places in the PA, NJ, MD area to get this done. Also, would anyone recommend that i treat anything besides the crank? i was thinking possibly the pistons, block, rods, valves or anything like that. any suggestions? thanks..

Not sure about who does it in that area, but I would also suggest the crank, for that matter any part that moves or has a great deal of kinetic stress to it would be a good choice to cryo treat.

well, im kinda up in the air right now. i was initially planning on running like a 100 shot or maybe 125 after i had it built, but the more i think about it, i'll prolly end up going FI. I'm looking for bout 300-350 HP/TQ. I was plannin on running Ross forged pistons, though which path i choose will dictate the compression ratio. Ill be rebuilding the entire motor, completely new valvetrain, new bearings and rings on the bottom end, stock, polished rods (tot take out the surface imperfections)... Pretty much building the motor from the ground up. basically, id like to run low 13's with a 3.4.. get into the 12's if i can... it seems as if cryo treating would be a good idea though as we dont have anything but a stock crank, block and mains to work with. How bout the mains? i mean, with them only being a 2 bolt, would it be good if i did this so they couldnt walk with the increased power? Thanks for all your advice. Hey mogo, hows your buildup going? i came across it in a search i did today.. you still tryin to run all that boost with the nitrous? thanks for all the help..
