those 1.8 ratio rockers come with push rods because they have redesigned push rod seats...not because the push rods are light weight, necessarily.

Most people with 1.9 ratio rockers get valve float at 5500 or so rpm. To compensate we use stronger valve springs. (ls6 90# are perfect fit...same retainers, etc.) With the 1.9 intense 3rd gen rockers you do not need new pushrods..but you can get lighter ones if you like. The lighter valve trane from the aluminum rockers is nice as well. (cuts down valvetrane mass by about the weight of one piston)

High ratio rockers are not compatible with high lift cam. If you are sure you do not want a cam swapp then they may be right for you. Highly recomend new (stronger...ls6 springs) with the high ratio rockers. The price of the intense 3rd gen rockers is better than the Slp, I believe.

I have a review and guide for the 1.9s on my website.

          It says for "W-Body" 3800..Would it work on a F-Body 3800?

            Yes they will work.

But honestly, I'd spend the $500 elsewhere. However much I hate INTENSE, at least their 1.9 rockers are only $370.

yes but the SLP kit comes with pushrods and such as well, when you add that in on top of the intense rockers it comes out to about the same price. Valvesprings are a must with either (i would go with the 105# springs). They are a great option for those that want to upgrade the top end of the engine other than the cam.

Oh i almost forgot, ZZP's comp cam rockers are now available in 1.6, 1.7, and 1.8 ratios so they are another good option and i would go with them over Intense or SLP.

If I was only gonna go with rockers, I wouldn't get pushrods.

I recomend replacing everything since you already have the engine opened up but thats just me.
