Found a guy with a set of low mileage GTP heads (1998 GTP) and the lower intake manifold. I was wondering if they are any better than ours and would be of any benefit to my 3.8 I think I'm going to build, they're not too expensive, prob $100 for both. Also, would this allow me to install the GTP blower on my car?? What other mods would be needed, as this seems very cost effective if I build up the internals a bit too while I'm at it..

The only difference internally is the low-compression pistons on the L67 & the crank, which from what I'm told is forged. I doubt you'd see any difference between the GTP heads & lower intake manifold. You're best bet would be to get your stock parts ported & polished. Also, the fuel rails on the L67 are run differently, & as far as the blower, it's been said in the past it would take alot of work to make it fit (it would sit the wrong way on the L36). I'm also told you'll need the right crank pulley to get it to work.
