  • new 3.4 motor help

    ok well i started it up today it runs rough wont stay running unless i give it gas doesnt idle just cuts off umm i was wondering if it could be because of bad coils or if it like needs time for the computer to accept everything helppppp i have a 3.4

    pvc system could be lacking air is the upper and lower intake bolted down correctly?
    have you checked for suction?
    are all the spark plug wires on the right way?

    just an idea.

      Check the wires, check for fuel. If the wires are in correctly, and you are getting fuel, I would next Make sure the MAP sens. is connected, alond with O2 sensors and Camshaft sensor. Unless the motor has a mechanical problem (internal engine) it's an electrical problem.

        its a new motor i think its the injectors thats pretty much the only thing thats not new on it

          Check vacuum, and then if you have an air/fuel gauge handy, that would also help lots. Good luck though. [img]smile.gif[/img]

            Thats 2 that say to check the pvc make sure you have working properly. [img]smile.gif[/img]

                well i was lookin at the lines i didnt find anything unconected but there this one line that goes in the wiring harness in the back where does that go
