  • Fixing gas guage after guage install?

while installing ym guages, i had to remove the gas needle, and apparently between all the starting and turning off the engine, the gas went down fron 1/4 yank. my question is what would be the best way to reset this, get a full stank start the car and put the needle a lil past full. will it them keep proper track of fuel. any suggestions, please help!

It should adjust itself. It's not on a timer, it gets it signal from the fuel pumps arm that moves up and down as it floats on the gas.

Fill all the way up and set it to as far as it goes. Mine pretty much maxes out the gauge when full.

yeah, just fill it up all the way and fix it yourself, just watch yourself the first tank afterwards, dont want to get stranded again

so fll it up all the way, start the car, pull out the needle, and put it back in at a lil past full. does it keep going clockwise to a certain point if i keep turning it, or does it eventually stop
