With a 112 LSA, the Comp 4x4 is still an NA cam. This isn't to say you can't use nitrous on it, you just don't get the same gain you would if you were using a strictly nitrous cam. FWIW, the GT2 cam uses the same 4x4 lobes, since it's a 3303 grind.

all of them will give you good gains but like everybody else has said, some are better NA cams than others. the wide LSA and split duration help out in boost/nitrous applications. using the boost cam i listed, pewter2k1 went 14.60 NA and 13.30 on a 100 shot, nittos, and cat-back.

i don't plan on any nitrous, ever, so i went with a bigger cam with a tight LSA and similar duration.

You could get the GT2 Cam, but then you would have to do business with ZZPerformance...
Lets just say I wouldn't recommend it.

Everybody seems to forget that Texas Speed is a very large dealer for Comp Cams as well as Cam Motion! If you need some help picking a cam, feel free to e-mail me anytime and I can help you pick a custom grind that will be best for your whole setup. It's not always best to pick a camshaft off a list of existing designs, alot of times your car will be better off with something a little different:)

I agree...get away from the list everyone picks from.
I too have nothing but good to say about ZZP, but I think you should try going through TSP seeing as how they're a sponsor of the site.
                  Matt will do you right.

I agree.... I've not had any bad experiences with ZZP, however TSP has done me right when I dealt with them, and I'd rather go with a site sponsor over another site if at all possible.

it also does not hurt to support one of a couple places that even design and come up with new stuff for our motor and to help out the people that did the r&d to begin with.

I am sure TSP is great I plan on getting stuff from them in the future but they are not currently coming out with new stuff for our car they just sell stuff that others came out with and not alot of v6 stuff

the v6 community isnt keeping TSP from going under they have the v8 market where the money is anyways and they are kicking *** with some of their cars. ZZP and Intense only deal with the 3800, I give them props for that. Im surprised they have not moved on to other cars. If zzp or intense go out of buisness that helps us zero because then there will be no compition and who ever is left could do whatever they want because there is no compition.

If TSP got into the v6 more with heads and cam packages and heck motors I would love it. Im sure everyone would benifit

Those companies are reselling Comp Camshafts, Cam Motion Camshafts, etc. Pushrods are all made by 2 or 3 companies (everybody's pushrods are made by the same people and marked with whomever's name). They sell Rollmaster timing sets, ARP bolts, Comp valve springs, etc for your car.

Just an FYI, I sell ALL of the same stuff. And yes, we have done alot of "R&D" with my car and others for the V6 market to see what we can work with.

I think if a handful of companies around this site cared HALF as much about your V6 F-body as you think, they'd at least be sponsoring the site. Every 3rd thread in the Forced Induction forum is FFF, why don't thy pay a small amount to sponsor the site and further the community?? How about ZZP? How about FTTP or AMM or whatever? They are all here every day, trying to make a living, but none want to pay to play like the rest of us.

What if Thunder Racing, TSP, TByrne and LMPerformance all quit sponsoring the board and selling V6 parts?? Ever considered why these companies sponsor this board and not some other V6 board? Because we are devoted to the V6 F-bodies.

So there's my rant for the day. And on behalf of the rest of this site's sponsors: Thanks to the people that continue to support the sponsors of this site!

zzp came out with a 4.1 stoker kit (yea it may not be good for more then 350 hp but im sure for a nother 3K they could get you a custom crank that could support your power) also was the first to come out with an electric water pump for our motor. Are about to bring out some new roller rockers from comp cams. Are supposed to bring out some budget heads for the l36.

Also I think if people form the board bought more stuff from them they would sponsor us.

I support the sponsors, almost all my stuff is from one sponsor or the other and they are the first ones I look at for anthing but my motor. When it comes to my motor I look to companies that have delt with and know my motor and have developed and have in development more stuff for our engins.

TSP does not specialize in our MOTOR. If they did I would be looking at yall for my motor. Also how am I or anyone supposed to know you can get me just about anything for my motor when its not on the webpage. The webpage basicly has everything that fits from the v8's really. Granted that all you need to have but motor wise yall dont show anything. I honestly didnt think of TSP being a place I could get a cam from cause its not on your site.

Maybe if yall added some stuff to your site for our motor and came out with some stuff more people would look at TSP for our motor.

We all know zzp and intense dont offer anything for our car except for our motor, the other sponsers cover the rest of our car.

Heck I would love if yall could offer a nice buget set of heads. Would love to see TSP at the top of the v6 world too.

I also think FFF should be paying up. They have gotten everyones money from the GP and I know they got over 8K from someone. I think they can afford the couple bucks a month to help with the bandwidth they use. Very unprofressional. ZZP nor Intense come on here and advertise, but they arnt sponsors either.

Very good points Matt! I have purchased from TSP and will continue to purchase from them and all the other site sponsors. It is not fair to the paying sponsors to have other companies come on here and advertise for free.

LS1tech.com does an excellent job of protecting its paying sponsors interests, hence why they have so many. Any talk about another company that is not a site sponsor is locked.

Support your site sponsors who in turn support you. :D
