  • Engine Rebuild.

So, I was just wanting some ideas about directions I could take with my car. It has 110k miles on it, so I was thinking either all or none... I know it isn't too bad to do heads and cam, and maybe upper and lower intakes, but what's the final word on porting the tb? Just get a 99+ sensor and let Matt and Jason do the rest? Also, I plan on spraying her. So, is there anything I can do to make it take more than a 100-125 shot? Any input is appreciated, thanks in advance (no pun intended rofl)

forged is the only way to go if you want to spray more than a 100 shot

          why is that

I have heard of a couple people spraying 150 before and nothing happend to their engin. Might of gone through their trans but not their engin if its set up right.

I belive a 150 shot can be done saftly if its done right. IE dont spray it all out the hole at once.

A 100 shot is a safe high shot because no ones ever f uped the engin really spraying that much. And your fuel pump should be fine for a 100 shot, any more and thats one of the problems is not getting enough fuel.

</font>[/QUOTE]Actually Drone is correct on this one. The reason spraying over a 100 wet shot is not good idea on our engines has little to do with the internals being weak. What it has to do with is the intake design is such that unused fuel from a wet shot will pool in the intake and cause back fire. One must overcome that problem, before spraying over a 100 wet shot.. ;)
