Rebuild Plans Have Changed

Because my HR department sucks, and my deal on getting another motor fell through, it looks like I'm gonna have to rebuild the motor I have. Since I have an exhaust leak in my coolant, I'm going to replace my headgasket ASAP before it gets worse. Since I'm gonna have the heads off, I might as well get them ported and polished. Then I was thinking about getting the Intense head stud kit, Intense MLS head gaskets, Compcams high load valve springs, and Compcams valve spring retainers and some sort of cam.

But I was thinking, the price to do all that work is going to be very close the powerpak, should I get that instead, since I'm basically doing the powerpak + the headgasket and stud kit. Or would it be better to do all of it seperately?

from what I have seen I'm kinda partial to the powerpack heads(with all the goodies)+ one of the comp cams(which one depends on what you are gonna be doing).. as far as the intense stuff.. I know nothing about their stuff except for they built that badazz turbocharged gtp..

i like the Intense stage 3 heads w/ the larger valves and porting to accomodate. I'm sure u could get ur entire head and valvetrain redone w/ their components and make some serious power. if ya look into a cam, get a custom grind from comp.
