You would have to get your Westers tuned PCM reflashed back to stock before using HP Tuners.
2000 Firebird. Whisper Lid, True duals, TSP mail order tune, Built Tranny , TCI 2800 stall verter, B&M tranny cooler, Eaton LSD, 3.42 gears. Current best ET. 15.232 89.09 MPH 2.175 60ft on stock 3.42\'s and open diff.<a href=\"http://www.geocities.c
You can read your PCM first and then edit that binary and will be good to go.
If westers tuned you PCM you are still all good. You can still use our product on your PCM without problem.
I believe you can even read your PCM and then send the file to westers if you want some custom mail order tuning done. He would send you the file back and then you would use that file and simply write the PCM in 30 seconds.

Does anyone know what Wester's uses to tune our PCM's? I have a Wester's tuned PCM and when I put it in I was like "WOW!".
Actually it took two PCM's to get one that worked. I had a alternator problem when I put the first PCM in and I think I fried it or something. He sent me another one (he is real helpful). Unfortuntely, on the second one he forgot to change my gear ratio from 3.08 to 3.42 so my speedo is off :( He was going to send me another one but I told him not to worry about it because I didn't want to mess with getting another crank position relearn procedure.
Anyway, I am glad to see I could use HP Tuner's to update my PCM if I would want to in the future, I didn't even know this was an option until I read this thread. I don't want to pay $500 just to change my gear ratio though. Maybe if I ever go forced induction I will get it.
