  • Pullin' da heads

Welp, I called Mission Auto Parts (Machine shop) and they said that they'd magnaflux the heads for $15 each. And rebuild them for $39 each. Depending on what went wrong an intake valve is $11 and an exhaust valve is $9.95. With a two-day turn around for the work.

So I gave RedBird00 a call and he's on his way over to help me pull the heads and take em up to the machine shop.

Hopefully it'll only take a few hours at most.

I'll go hi-po heads at a later date. For now I'm just trying to get it back on the road. So I'm kinda miffed about getting work done now, only to redo it in another year. But luck of the draw. Can't complain if this is the first thing I've had to fix at 130,000 miles.

Will take pictures. Let you know how it goes.
