• Quoted for CAM install!!!!

WOOOOOOOFUKKKINNG HOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! YAY!
I got a price quote for 425$ I couldnt believe it! Only 425$ for install all liquids replaced and I have to pay for all the new gaskets. Its only going to take 3-5 days! Looks like im going to be spending 7-800 on my cam+install.

Edit: I didnt know where to post this, because most people ask how much they get quoted for cam install's.

Funny, you can do it yourself in about 2 days. Although that isn't a terrible deal I'd much rather buy the tools and do it myself

Oh, and don't get the VS Cam ok? Get something meaner. Mike had the VS Cam, I rode in it n/a, its not what you want.

If you are interested, I picked up camaro_zach's cam, and I wont be needing it (getting a blower)... from what I hear, it's a really good cam.

hey, that sounds like something i would say!

being that you are not mechanically inclined i know you will be dissapointed in the results. yes i was extatic when i ran my 14.45, but i was really dissapointed when slacker took my car to the extreme with the power pack, hpp3, headers, full exhaust, airlid, ftra, 3.73s, maft+, bfgoodrich drag radials, lsd, and god knows how much suspension and pulled off that EXTREME 16.5 @78 mph.
tearing into your motor aint no joke. anybody can do it if they can afford it, doesnt mean its going to be worth it. i have spent $16,000 on my car in mods, installation, and repair due to mods and i run just as fast as the best 3.4 out there.
6s.......under the hood or under the belt, they just dont cut it.

Sounds like you need a supercharger or something! You got a bunch of free flowing air but nothing to push it all very fast.
