Anyone found a way to reprogram a 94 3.4?
I have 2 PCMs one for auto and one for man trans.
Ive installed the 3.4 in a 83 4x4 blazer and want to tweak it some.
I also want to get rid of the codes set by missing transmission.
I ve seen alot of ALDL cables and software for 94 LT-1s but nothing for 3.4s.
I can make my own cable and use a laptop if I can find the software.
Thanks on the tip for AKM cables ive looked at their stuff B4 but didnt find the DIY one. I still need the 12 pin connector to make cable and cant find a source for it alone. What is a tried and true software for this application?
I have a friend that does the OBD1 on 3.8s ( Buick Regretta) and may put him up to the challange.
As for SuperChips, they are right here in town and son has a friend that works for them, last time I chacked they wanted to program PCM for me @ about $200. I want something I can tune myself and dont think they are interested in doing mine as a freebie guinea pig.But it would be nice to have some inside infulence to do the 96-7 3.8s hint hint.Im trying to convince my son to go to work for them so we can do alot of this stuff ourselves.
Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
