For that cam, I would get:
-Ls1 or Ls6 springs, stock retainers and keepers.
-Stock replacement pushrods (I would get new ones if you can, just make sure they aren't bent.)
-Stock replacement lifters (just get something low mileage or new.) Not needed at all, but might as well do it while your in there. They are hyd. roller, so they don't need replacement.
-NEW timing chain and tensioner
-Gasket set for RWD 3800... valve cover gaskets, and lower intake gaskets may differ.
-New headbolts (if you pull the heads) and rocker bolts (no matter what).
No need to go pyscho on getting super parts you don't need.
This cam has been run of stock valve train to 6750 rpms without a problem. I would replace the springs for a confort issue, and then check everything else out to make sure you don't have any problems.
