For that cam, I would get:
-Ls1 or Ls6 springs, stock retainers and keepers.
-Stock replacement pushrods (I would get new ones if you can, just make sure they aren't bent.)
-Stock replacement lifters (just get something low mileage or new.) Not needed at all, but might as well do it while your in there. They are hyd. roller, so they don't need replacement.
    -NEW timing chain and tensioner
-Gasket set for RWD 3800... valve cover gaskets, and lower intake gaskets may differ.
-New headbolts (if you pull the heads) and rocker bolts (no matter what).

No need to go pyscho on getting super parts you don't need.
This cam has been run of stock valve train to 6750 rpms without a problem. I would replace the springs for a confort issue, and then check everything else out to make sure you don't have any problems.

So you do have roller lifters, you can reuse them. It is a good idea to inspect them and make sure there not tore up or damaged or any thing.

They are hydraulic lifters, rplace if badly worn or high mileage. I would not recomend the Comp OE "R" series lifters, as setup is a PITA and you really need an adjustable rocker arm for them.

LS1 pushrods WILL NOT work. Ours are 7.05" length, LS1's are 7.400" stock. They happen to be the same diameter, but that's the only similarity.

Even on the LS1/LS6 valve springs, you can either resue your stock retainers and locks, or use the ones from the LS1.

If you seperate upper and lower intake, there are 2 o-ring seals that MUST be replaced between them. These come in a complete head set, or can be bought seperate. Id' say if you're buying all of the gaskets, but in a set to get everything at once, and cheaper! If you're not going to seperate the water ump from the front cover, why change the gasket? If it's not leaking currently, don't mess with it:)

Don't get the ls1 gaskets... only the valve springs.
LS1 waterpump gasket and timing cover set will not be the same.
Also, you don't have to remove the throttle body either.

Matt is right about the o rings, make sure you put them back on and take note of how they came off.

i'd suggest checking pushrod lengths before you buy them, the stockers ended up being .080 too long for my car when it really should've been around the same length....i ended up buying some Comp 6.950's instead, BTW my stockers measured 7.030

Don't order those gaskets off our website just yet! Those are all LS1 gaskets and are different than the V6 ones. Call me and I can get you the V6 gaskets.

Yeah, I would give Matt a call. I haven't dealt with TSP before, but from reading Matt's posts he seems to know his stuff, plus they are a sponsor of the site.
I trust he will take good care of you, after all he has swapped a few cams before too. I will be doing most/all of my v6 purchases from TSP just because of that fact.
