  • what gain from a cam?

if I get a cam installed in my 3.4 engine(good cam for a 3.4) what gains should I see?

    A small cam, not much.
    A larger cam, a little.
What might be good for you might not be good for me.
What do you want to get form it?
Plus I got a pic of the crane 272cam after all this time

On a 3.4 there is no tuning available so you can't get all the benefits of any cam or head porting. I picked up close to 50hp tuning my car.
