New Grounding Kits???

Anyone know if these would provide gains on our cars? I'm mainly talking about the new Hyperground System from Sun Automotive. The idea behind it is logical, but I'm wondering if we have enough electrical resistance in our system to actually gain anything from it.

There's also a new "active" type system called the direct power system. When i say active, it actually uses the car's electrical currents to reduce resistance actively, instead of just grounding everything to the same place, like a "passive" system would do. This system was used on a 350Z w/ a Hyperground kit already on it and saw 2-3 rwhp across the powerband. here's the website: http://www.takakaira.com/asp/template.asp?cat=2&id=1062

As you can see, they make several different boxes, depending on the application. Does anyone think this will help on our cars?

In my experience ALL cars gain rwhp with performance grounding kits. Anywhere from 1rwhp to 30 (93-97 rx-7 biatch, ****ty stock grounding lol). Not sure about the direct power whatsits tho.

Grounding is said to help.
I woun't buy there kit, I would get some wire and connecters and reground stuff like the MAF if you have one, ignition componets, ECU, make sure the injectors are grounded to the ECU real good and stuff like that.
Those kits arn't going to do the important stuff.
Make sure your conecters to your ignition and fuel compponets connecters arn't crusty, by unhooking them and looking for crust.
I would reground some stuff on my car but not with one of there over priced kits.

I'd trust a kit designed for my car over my own ability, but thats probably just me.

The main things that should have a common ground, from what i can see, is the negative battery teminal, the PCM, the starter, the alternator, and any extra electronics, such as ignition, stereo, lighting, ect. this is for those who wanna try making a home-made grounding kit for their cars.

I wouldnt spend that kind of money on something high tech. Just go and get some thick amp power cable and some ring-terminals. Attach one from a bolt on the valve cover over to the chassis of the car. You're done. You might also notice less radio/ignition interference (ticking noise over radio stations) as well, I did. Hondas have a horrible chassis ground, and gains of about 12 hp can be found just by adding a few grounds in the engine compartment. (heh, just today I was getting out of my girlfriends civic and it shocked me so bad, it about put me on the ground!!) My old Volkswagen was only showing 11 volts of charge from the alternator, I added a ground wire from the alt. body to the negative terminal of the battery and it jumped to 14 volts. My point? It works, just make your own ground kit and save some cash.

That's all well and good but when you put a diode in a circut it better be forward biased and it adds some resistance.
You could do it so easy, making a few grounds that is.
I all ways do every thing my self, I thinks it's like some kind of sickness.

Although electricity flows from plus (+) to minus (-) fundamentally, the electrical current goes contrary to the electrical flow when a car is equipped with electronic auto parts. This is called reversed electrical current. A car battery supplies electricity to the alternator, and the engine drives the alternator to re-generate electricity while electricity is supplied. The electricity generated at this time tends to flow back to the car battery. This returning electricity is called reversed current, and will interfere with the current supplied from the car battery which will result in a loss of electrical current. The equipment which reduces this electrical interference then pulls out original power and uses the amount of electrical power which is existing now that there is no loss possible. Then this power performance is brought close to 100%. It is the ignition frequency generated from the engine, and whose undamped natural frequency which this product uses with great effect, an is made to circulate through electricity efficiently. This is the Direct Power System.
