i wouldnt bother with a diode, but i did make a grounding kit out of 8 awg thhn and it is beneficial, it doesnt hurt and its not heavy. i woulndt spend more then 10$ on it though. see ghetto mods for the write up in the general forum

A diode won't do any thing, it would just be a selling piont for a grounding kit to a kid (ricer) that dosen't realy know any thing about there car and how a diode realy works.
