Well while I was replacing my bearings today. I noticed that my number 2 journal for my con-rod was way shot. I took it to a machine shop to have it looked at. Well it had been bad enough for long enough to bend my crank shaft .08* off center. So I have to get it turned straightend and then take all my con-rods to him to get the adjusted...What gets me is that I have owned the car for 8 monthes( drivind it 6) and I have to do all this work to just get rid of it...So I am looking about $120-200 dollars at the machine shop this week...

Dude that sucsk. I guess that explains why you were not at work today. Good luck with the car. Give me a buzz when you need help putting the motor back in.
Do me a HUGE favor and ask the machine shop (out of curiosity, I swear) if they would be able to stroke your motor, and to what displacement they could do it to, and an estimated cost, and how exactly they would do it. If you would do that for me I would be very greatful!
P the shop is down on 90th and 5thw...Its called RPM performance...
Scott I will ask him for YOU...I am selling the car as soon as I get it together...Well I am not making any more payments either but we will see what happens with that...

We talked to them about stroking it. He wouldnt give us a price. He says it could be a few houndrad dollars or more depending on what they had to do to the crank and conrods. He wasnt giving us much information.
