  • EGR BLOCK OFF?

I want to block off my EGR. How would the car react? Would it run ok? Lose performance? Gain? I am asking this simply because my EGR tube has a leak in it. Instead of buying new hoses for the EGR what if I just block it off? What would happen? I think Im going to try it but I want opinions. I am not worried about emissions I just barely had them done. What ya all think?

Besides the possible constant SES light and that its not exactly legal, there are no negatives.

You won't see any peak HP or TQ #'s out of it though.

Other than SES would the car run any different?

My exhaust leaks and small vaccum leak from the egr are much worse than a silly SES light.

It'll have a little more prep low end during non-WOT driving.
