from V6 to LT-1 vette engine

ok, so this isnt happening or anything, duh. im just wondering how much it would cost to change a V6 over to an LT-1 Corvette engine . . . including all parts needed and installed

anyone know a rough estimate???

The belt driven accesories are monthed differently and wont fit, so you would have to get an LT1 long block from one(The only benefit of doing this is 4 bolt mains instead of 2 and unless you plan on breaking the 450-500 HP barier its worthless) then all the belt driven accories and harness from a Camaro, then k-member, suspension, plastic fuel lines, fuel pump, guages, Transmission, cross member, radiator, and hoses. Price to do this? Hard to say.

Doing a corvette LT1 over a Camaro LT1 will cost substantially more with no power gain and and a lot more work. Not worth it just for 4 bolt mains IMO.

i dont really understand why it wouldnt be faster than say a lt1 camaro engine??? im not too much into hard core car performance so i dont understand.

they are rated at 300 instead of 285, its just not worth it. 15hp you might as well just put headers on the camaro motor.
