You can get Accel 24 #'ers from Summit or Jegs. If you go supercharger you might need bigger than 24 and you can also get Accel's in bigger at summit or jegs.

Maybe your stock fuel pump cant handle the fuel you need from it so its dropping your fuel pressure. You are running a 100 shot on stock pump right? I have been told from lots of members to upgrade fuel pump before I sprayed 100 shot. But I aint no pro.

If you go with bigger injectors will the maft+ be sufficient enough to tune your car for the bigger injectors or would you need to tell whoever programs your pcm that you have bigger injectors?

My pcm seems to have learned the new injectors. I have Accel 24's.

With the base and wot dials set to zero, I am running nearly the same wot o2's that I had before the bigger injectors. (low 90's)

I am getting nearly -20% ltrims now, where it was more like -8% before. So it has compensated. My wot is a little richer, but not very much.

Part-throttle is still managed by the pcm as always, and still sweeps the same o2 range.

I ran 5% lean on the base dial for a while, but when spraying nitrous, I couldn't get the o2's high enough at wot. So I went back to zero on the base dial. When I first put the new injectors in, it smelled rich at idle. I should have let the pcm learn for a while. It eventually took that richness out. Except on initial startup it still runs a little rich, before it starts using the o2's, but I can live with that.

With even bigger injectors than the 24's, the maft would still help, but there is some upper limit on how big you can go. I would guess around 28's or so, is where the maft might not be enough, but that is only a guess...

If someone was getting programming anyway, I would definitely mention the bigger injectors.

I have accell 24 lb'ers as well.. They are pintle type which I dislike.. I wish I would have gone with a stock LS1 injector because of the better spray pattern...

Regardless, Without injector/MAF tuning, my car starts a little rough in the cold.. Kinda shaky, 700-1400 rpm surges.. after about 30 seconds of that it smoothens out. This is with a cam btw.

MAF T+ is off the car.. I only use the MAF T+ at the track.
