This is from doing my '98.

The fuel rail is u-shaped, circling around the back of the intake. It is held down by 2 studs on each side. I had to take a bunch of other stuff off the top because I took the whole fuel rail out. To change injectors only, you shouldn't have to take much off. You may have to unbolt the coils and set them over to the side, to get to the fuel rail studs on the drivers side.
The injectors are clipped to the fuel rail, just slide the clips off. (they're springy, and I lost one somewhere back on top of the transmission, when it popped off the injector...)
The wires to the injector are held on by a wire clip. Spread it a little and pull the connector out.
Unclip everything while the rail is still bolted down. Then take the nuts off the four studs.
Pull up on the rail, and things should start separating. The injector has a o-ring holding in it the intake and another one holding it in the fuel rail. Either one may let go first. The old ones will be stuck in there pretty good.
Make sure the old o-rings are all acounted for...
Light coat of oil on the new o-rings. Press the injectors down into the intake. Then line up the tops with the fuel rail. Press the fuel rail down onto the injectors, one at a time. Once the injectors are up inside the fuel rail, you'll see that the new o-rings will slide up and down pretty easily. To get the clip back on, the injector will be just about centered in its up and down travel in the rail.
Put the fuel rail nuts back on the studs. First make sure the injectors are lined up and pressed down by hand evenly. You can probably use the bolts to take up the last part of the slack, but everything should be pretty well lined up before you start running the nuts down.
Pop the connectors back on. You can swivel the injectors as needed to minimize any strain on the wires. They move pretty easily until the o-rings seal up after you run the engine a few times. Then you shouldn't disturb them anymore.
Put coils back on.
Fire it up!!

John_D -- you mentioned putting oil on the O-rings. I've always heard vasoline ... what kind of oil did you use? (no, i've never done injectors)

There are a little metal clip looks like the size of a paper clip that goes around the electrical connecter. Pop that clip off disconnect the electrical connecter. Now you have to remove the big metal clip that holds the injector to the rail. Then pull. Pull hard if you have to and it will come out. Make sure to keep track of your O rings sometimes they stick inside the fuel rail or even the intake manifold. Goto Autoparts store and get all NEW O rings. If you dont they could leak.
When replacing the fuel rail be carefull not to tighten the 4 nuts too tight. The studs will snap off very easily.

I just put some motor oil on them. It would have been whatever 10W30 synthetic blend I had sitting around at the time. I hadn't heard about using vaseline, but either one would probably work, just as long as the o-rings are lubricated so they don't roll off or stick on the way in.
