I am finally ordering my double roller timing chain/gears, and I am replacing the oil pump while I am in there. So I figured I might give the high volume kit a try.
If you use one, how do you like it? What pressures do you see? At idle and at WOT.

Those guys at clubgp seem to have the same opinion I have about it. On the fence.
My oil pressure runs right at 30 at idle and just barely to 60 at throttle with 10w-30 in it.
When it was newer, it stayed at least at 60, even at idle. It just seems like it's too low for me. I know the oil spring mod doesn't help idle oil pressure, but I would really like to see more WOT pressure.
I am theorizing that maybe some chunks of my timing chain tensioner have damaged the pump, etc. But I think I need to change out the Oil pressure sending unit first, then go from there.
Matt, since you are king of part numbers, do you have a GM part number for the bolts that hold the oil pump cover on? They tried to strip out last time I replaced the timing chain (when I wanted to check the pump out) so I left it alone. This time I will replace the pump/plate/bolts.

Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
