Has anyone used this cam yet in an N/A fbody? It's 210/210 .507/.507 112LS. I saw a post saying the VS cam sux for N/A use, but hadn't heard anything about the GT cam. A few people said they were ordering it in other threads. Just wondering how it is? Also, anyone get the 200/206 cam from COMPcams yet? Any news on that one?

I got it. Its pretty good. 220rwhp/240rwtq 13.79@97 and a mph best of 98.

Though I got one of the original ZZP GT cams... so its got 111LS and 107IC.

I do get the P0300 code some.

i'm doing en engine rebuild on mine.i spoke with my mechanic yesterday and he would get my car ready next week. he installed 200/206 .496 .480 112. also he replaced the heads cause the originals were craked.as far as i know i'm getting the cam, 3 angle valve job, used heads, cam bearings, piston rings, valve springs, retainers and god knows what else. i'll get the details on this, next week and the dyno numbers as soon as i finished the break in. hopefully i'll get good numbers .

I still have stock heads and exhaust manifolds. W/ 3.23's I was stuck at about 14.1. I was hitting the rev limiter in 3rd just b/f the line. Also launching at 3500 rpm was about all my clutch could hold.

Seppo, do you feel that your P&P manifolds helped much with stock heads? Just curious.

whats the difference between a 111 lobe seperation and a 112 lobe seperation?

is there really that big of a difference?

99redcamaro, I wanted to put the same cam in my car. When you get some results can you e-mail them to me? JA_Medure@excite.com

How do you like it so far? A noticible difference?

Tyler, if u want an in-depth take on Lobe Separation, use the Cam Guide in another thread in Advanced Tech. But basically, the smaller your Lobe Separation, the 'tighter' your power will be made. What that means is that a bigger lobe separation will have more of a flat curve in power with a lower peak HP. The smaller lobe separation will have less power at lower parts of the RPM range, but a higher peak HP. It also moves your power band further up the RPM's.

0300 is a multiple misfire code. That isn't good, if the cam is doing that. Are you still getting that code?

Its common w/ stock pcm's and some aftermarket cams. The pcm reads the lope as a mistaken misfire. LS1's have the same occurance w/ some aftermarket cams.

i would be getting my car this week probably monday or tuesday. i have to wait at least 500 miles before stomping on it. i'm getting a free dyno so as soon as i put those 500 miles i'll get those results for you and everybody here.

                              thanks
