I plan on beginning with a 75 shot and working up slowly to a 150-175 shot. I would like to have my engine work done before any nitrous is put in my car. I am going to be buying my pistons/rods from
http://www.ftpp.net/V6Main.htm
why do they tell me to call for specs?<b><a href=\"http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2288859\" target=\"_blank\">1999 Mustang GT(Car Domain)</a><br /><a href=\"http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2123740\" target=\"_blank\">1998 Pontiac Firebird(Car Domain) *SOLD*</a></b> <br /><br /><a href=\"http://www.camarov6.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=9;t=000902\" target=\"_blank\"><b>PA</b> - Maple Grove Test\'N\'Tune <i>April 15th</i></a>

just buy some l32 rods and then get some pistons for those. They are plenty strong enough and cheaper than regular forged ones from ftpp.net, about half the cost of the ones from ftpp.net

I would consult the Nitrous and FI forums, but I believe you probably want higher compression for N/A or nitrous-only use, and lower compression for forced induction such as a turbo or supercharger.1994 Firebird 3.4<br />15.65 @ 86.8<br /><a href=\"http://www.funkz.net/firebird.htm\" target=\"_blank\">funkz.net/firebird</a><br /><a href=\"http://mywebpages.comcast.net/funkz/timeslips.htm\" target=\"_blank\">Timeslips</a>

In my built motor I had Diamond forged pistons and I32 Rods.. You can go to the Dealership for the rods.. they were 250.00 for the set of six..Jeff ..

Well, on the bright side, maybe they will come out with even stronger rods!1997 Chevrolet Camaro v6 - 13.8@104MPH

would the extra money be worth spending on aluminum forged rods. I would imagine they would be lighter and the lighter the engine compenents the larger the HP output correct?
Or would it make a small difference not worth the extra $300<b><a href=\"http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2288859\" target=\"_blank\">1999 Mustang GT(Car Domain)</a><br /><a href=\"http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2123740\" target=\"_blank\">1998 Pontiac Firebird(Car Domain) *SOLD*</a></b> <br /><br /><a href=\"http://www.camarov6.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=9;t=000902\" target=\"_blank\"><b>PA</b> - Maple Grove Test\'N\'Tune <i>April 15th</i></a>
